Satisfaction Guarantee: The
Computer Geeks stands behind our customer satisfaction
guarantee. The Computer Geeks will always work to the fullest
extent of our capacity to provide satisfaction and overall
happiness to our customer’s experience. The Computer Geeks will
seek to quickly satisfy our customer’s reasonable requests to
remedy any problem with a service we provided. Upon notification
within the warranty period. If you are not satisfied with your
service: Call 1-888-848-8031 for resolution.
Fix or Free:
The Computer Geeks guarantees to provide the customer with a
solution to his or her technology problem with a repair,
replacement, remedy or combination. This guarantee is limited to
the customers consent to apply one or more of these solutions.
If The Computer Geeks is unable to provide a solution, a full
refund will be offered.
Price Guarantee:
The Computer Geeks shall match and beat any
advertised price in a reasonably publicized periodical or
publication for the same service, availability, standards,
parts, warranty and guarantee.
Change Orders, Rescheduling,
Cancelations & Refunds:
To change your order or reschedule: You must contact The
Computer Geeks Guidance Engineers at 1-888-848-8031 at least 24
hours prior to your service appointment date and time. Order
changes/Rescheduling made after the 24 hour grace period will
incur a $30 change order fee.
To cancel your order: You
must contact The Computer Geeks Guidance Engineers at
1-888-848-8031 at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled service.
The payment amount will be fully refunded in the manner the
purchase was paid. Cancelations made after the 24 hour grace
period will incur a $50 cancelation fee.
Refunds: Post site visit
refunds will only be offered in the event that The Computer
Geeks refuses to implement and carry out our Satisfaction
Guarantee policy. The Computer Geeks cannot offer a refund in
the event the customer refuses to allow The Computer Geeks to
implement the remedy or proceed with our scope of work. Refunds,
however, will be offered under reasonable circumstances where
neither is possible and the customer is not found to be
negligible.
Life Time
Free Phone Support: All Computer Geeks
customers who have completed at least one service call are
entitled to receive lifetime free technical phone support.
Data Responsibility:
You understand and agree that it is your responsibility to
back-up the data, software, information or other files stored on
your computer disks and/or drives unless The Computer Geeks is
providing this service for you as part of your service
agreement. You acknowledge and agree that The Computer Geeks
shall not be responsible under any circumstance for any loss or
corruption of data and/or software.
Service Limitations:
The Computer Geeks reserve the right to refrain from providing
any or all services ordered and refund the customer's payment
minus a $50 site not ready fee, if minimum system requirements
are not met or if technical conditions (such as wiring
difficulties or physical barriers) or customer requirements are
unusual, extensive, or beyond the original scope of the service
agreement as reasonably determined by The Computer Geeks and/or
its third-party service provider.
Access:
The Computer Geeks technician must receive full
access to the equipment to be serviced, access to your residence
or office, your consent and cooperation to enter your residence
or business, and a safe working environment, working space and
electrical power. If a Computer Geeks technician arrives at the
scheduled service time and determines that he/she does not
reasonably have the access, cooperation, or safe working area
described in the previous sentence, then services may be denied
and a $50 site not ready fee will be assessed.
Limitation of Remedy:
Under no circumstances shall The
Computer Geeks be liable to you or any other person for any
damages, including without limitation any indirect, incidental,
special or consequential damages, expenses costs, profits, lost
savings or earnings, lost or corrupted data, or other liability
arising out of or related to the services provided by The
Computer Geeks or out of the installation, de-installation, use
of, or inability to use your computer equipment, hardware,
peripherals, or the network as a result of the services provided
hereunder.
Warranty
(Labor):
The Computer Geeks will warranty all labor
performed for a period of 15 days. Any work performed that has
been deemed insufficient, incomplete, and/or in error will be
rectified at no additional cost to the customer in the form of
remote support and/or a follow-up site visit. Warranties shall
be voided if any attempt to remedy or incidental work is
performed by unauthorized vendors or individuals.
Warranty
(Parts):
All new parts will carry the same manufacturer’s
warranty as detailed in their literature. Refurbished parts
shall carry their manufacturer refurbished warranty. Used parts
will be warranted by The Computer Geeks for a period of 30 days.
The Computer Geeks assumes no liability or guarantee of any
parts provided by the customer. Additionally, customer provided
parts shall void all warranties provided by The Computer Geeks.
Data Recovery:
There is no guarantee or warranty for data recovery service.
Phone
Assessment:
Although our phone assessments are accurate, The Computer Geeks
does not guarantee the initial phone assessment as a diagnostic.
This is a preliminary screening to narrow down the issue at hand
and provide the onsite technician with directives in the scope
of work. The technician will provide an accurate guaranteed
diagnostic while on site.
Credit
Charges:
By accepting this agreement you authorize The
Computer Geeks to charge your credit card to fulfill your
payment obligations as per your agreement.
Receiving
equipment:
The Computer Geeks shall assume no liability of
equipment removed from jobsite for loss, theft and/or damage of
equipment. By accepting this agreement you release The Computer
Geeks from all liability.
Offsite
service:
If offsite service is necessary, the technician
shall obtain an equipment release signature and issue the
customer an equipment intake receipt found on the work order.
The customer releases The Computer Geeks from any liability for
theft, damage and/or loss.
Release of
liability:
You affirmatively release and hold harmless The Computer Geeks
from and against any theft, loss, liability, or damage that you
or the owner may suffer, including but not limited to any loss
of any data and the non-functioning of any component or element
of your equipment resulting from The Computer Geeks and/or its
third party service provider's agents, partners and/or third
party service providers, regardless of the warranties,
disclaimers and waivers particular service and shall constitute
liquidated damages and are a reasonable estimate of damages to
you.
Adult Must Be
Present:
For on-site services, a person of at least 18
years of age must be present during the entire time period
services are provided. In the absence of the account holder, a
signed letter must be provided appointing and authorizing a
release signature for services/products rendered. If not, this
shall be considered a customer no-show and a $50 site not ready
fee shall be applied.
Force Majeure:
If The Computer Geeks’ ability to render service
is impaired by you or circumstances beyond the control of The
Computer Geeks, The Computer Geeks may choose not to provide or
to discontinue services and a $50 site not ready fee will be
assessed.
Service Area:
The Computer Geeks sets the service area for each city. If a
location is beyond The Computer Geeks standard Service Area,
additional charges may apply. (Most locations within 50 miles of
any major U.S. city will not incur travel charges.) To determine
if your location is within a The Computer Geeks standard service
area, call 1-888-848-8031 for information.
Emergency ASAP
service:
Any service request placed after 10am PST for
same day service is considered emergency service. You will
billed at the emergency rate and receive escalated attention to
your problem at a rapid pace. The very next available technician
will be rescheduled from his/her next service call and be
re-assigned to you. In some rare cases ASAP service may also be
provided in the form of remote service.
